John Odell is the co-founder and a principal of Arroyo Investment Group. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. John has over 33 years of experience in investment management and financial planning.
John started in the financial advisory business back in 1988 and founded Arroyo to give individuals a more competitive way to achieve their goals with less risk.
John is an innovator in the field, bringing institutional-quality investments to individuals through the development of GIPS® compliant portfolios that help clients more consistent returns with less risk. He also helps Arroyo clients with in-depth financial planning and specialized advice so they can stay on track to achieving their personal goals.
In addition to Arroyo, John oversees sister firm Capital Research and Consulting, which advises over $4 billion in retirement plan assets. John was recently named one of Pasadena’s most influential people two years in a row by Pasadena Magazine.
John holds various FINRA www.finra.org registered licenses including Series 7, 24, 27, 51, 63 and 65 through Capital Research Brokerage Services, LLC, (“CRBS”) of which he is a principal. CRBS is a licensed broker/dealer with The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Mike Haney is an investment advisor representative and Director of Marketing for Arroyo Investment Group. Mike has over 14 years of experience in financial planning and investment management.
Mike helps clients plan their future and create a road map to where they want to go. Part of this includes regular follow up to ensure that each client stays on track to their own goals. Mike is always there to help clients find solutions when life throws obstacles in their path.
Mike joined Arroyo in January of 2006 after thirty years of service for the City of Glendale. He first started with the Glendale Police Department as a Police Officer in 1975, later transferring to the Glendale Fire Department in 1980. Mike then held the rank of Fire Battalion Chief upon his retirement in December of 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California; School of Business, Finance and Real Estate. He was an All-American Golfer for U.S.C. in 1973. Mike was also Co-Captain for the Trojans in 1973. In 2006 he was inducted into the Glendale College Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic achievement.

Gabi Stapleton oversees data and analytics employed in creating and monitoring proprietary investment models utilized by Arroyo Investment Group. This work is aimed at helping Arroyo clients maintain more consistent returns with less risk.
Gabi also is available to assist clients with any special investment advice they need to achieve specific goals. That includes helping construct retirement plans that will withstand both expected and unexpected events so that clients can feel confident that they are ready for whatever life brings their way.
Gabi also manages activities associated with our sister firm, Capital Research + Consulting. She is an Investment Advisor Representative with Capital Research + Consulting LLC and currently holds a Series 65 FINRA registered license. Gabi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.

Lisa Taddeo is the Vice President of Operations for Arroyo Investment Group. She oversees all trading, client servicing, and billing for the firm. Lisa has over 24 years of experience in asset management and the financial industry.
Her responsibilities include maintaining data integrity for our portfolio management team, maintaining Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) compliance and working with an independent verification firm for quarterly composite verifications.
Lisa also works with clients to ensure that they receive the ongoing reporting and support they need to stay on track to achieve their goals.
Lisa joined Arroyo Investment Group in 2009 and has worked in the financial investment industry for more than 24 years. Lisa worked at Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management and Western Asset Management Company prior to joining our team. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Krista Charvat is an investment analyst for Arroyo Investment Group. Her responsibilities include the monitoring, analysis, and formation of each of our firm’s proprietary investment models. Krista has over 17 years of experience in asset management and investment analysis.
Krista’s analysis helps Arroyo deliver more consistent, risk-adjusted returns that help our clients achieve their goals. She’s also available for additional analysis when clients need it, to assist in planning for special goals or other unique situations.
Krista previously held positions with Nuveen Investments and RNC Genter Capital Management. She currently holds a Series 65 FINRA registered license. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.

Stephanie Hagan oversees Arroyo Investment Group’s customer relationship management team and all client communications in the Pasadena office. She works closely with our client services and operations team in the ongoing oversight of all client accounts and trading.
Stephanie also assists clients directly to make sure they always have the help or reporting they need.
She joined Arroyo Investment Group in September 2013. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University Northridge.
J. Felicity Goldstone

Felicity Goldstone joined Arroyo Investment Group in July 1999. She oversees all aspects of the compliance requirements that the firms must adhere to as Registered Investment Advisors.
Felicity has over 19 years of experience in the financial industry.
Felicity holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Real Estate and Law from California State Polytechnic University and holds a Series 27 License from FINRA as a Financial Operations Principal.

Dan Watson is Director of Client Relations for Arroyo Investment Group. In this role, he helps ensure that clients get the full-service attention they need.
Dan joined Arroyo in November 2015 after a career of more than 41 years in municipal law enforcement.
Dan began his career with the Los Angeles Police Department in 1973. He retired in 2002 at the rank of Commander to become the Police Chief in South Pasadena. After serving that community for 8 1/2 years, he served as the Police Chief in Mammoth Lakes for another 4 1/2 years. Dan holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Southern California.

Mark Archer is a Client Services Representative for Arroyo Investment Group. His responsibilities include the oversight and maintenance of our customer relationships and the analysis related to our client reporting.
Mark frequently helps clients when they need additional help or analysis, and makes himself available to help clients understand any aspect of their financial plan or investment holdings.
Mark joined the firm in July 2018 with six years of experience in the banking industry.
Mark previously lived in Denmark where he held positions with Nordea and Danske Bank. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration with emphases in Finance and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
